Samsonium is an open source effort to develop an experimental, fully managed, type-safe, object-database-oriented operating system without the use of aging technologies such as file systems, split memory space or text-based source code management. The main goal of the development is to tackle the growing complexity in IT systems but yet to provide a thoroughly designed highly scalable foundation to future applications.
